Ko Lanta’s beaches do not have spectacular rocks as Krabi or Phi Phi, but they are longer, quieter and cleaner.

Krabi Town is the main town in Krabi Province. Due to convenient location and cheap accommodation it is a good base for budget travelers. Krabi Town is home to a colorful Walking Street night market which is open on weekends from Fridays to Sundays.

Krabi Town has no beach and is located within 30 minutes by scooter ride from Ao Nang beach and 15 minutes by scooter ride from the famous Tiger Cave Temple. Railay and Phi Phi Islands are easily accessible from Krabi Town by boat.
