Phuket is the southern province in Thailand located in the Andaman Sea. The island of Phuket is the largest island in the province and also in the country. It is home to tropical nature, amazing beaches, outstanding seaside resorts and multiple famous landmarks. Phuket is also a great starting point for visiting such famous islands like Phi Phi or Similan.

The best time of the year to visit Phuket is from November till April when the weather in Thailand is warm, sunny and clear. The period between May and October is a rainy season in Phuket, when short but heavy rains can be expected every day. Rains are typically not prolonged in Thailand and even during the low season the sun shines for around 5 hours per day. Lower prices and less crowds are definite advantages of visiting Phuket during the low season.
